New Zealand National Championship Regattas have been held every year since 1969. Nationals also serve as selection trials for the New Zealand team to compete in Trans Tasman Interdominian regattas.
Numerous other regattas are held throughout New Zealand as these help develop the fleet and keep the up the level of competition.
